Hi all. I'm looking to do an L67 swap into my project car and was wondering if an L26 harness can be used. I guess the big question is what kinds of mods will need to be done to the harness or what plug-and-play harnesses will I have to buy to make it work? Thanks for your help!

    L67 harness should be cheaper.

    And easier.

    L26 isn't a supercharged harness from the factory, that'd be an L32.

Ok, thanks. I can get an almost mint L26 harness for super cheap so was wondering if it's usable with a few adapters or will the adapters end up costing too much? I have an old and worn 01 Park Avenue Ultra S/C engine harness I might could use but I don't trust it.

There might be a few carry overs, but plenty of the N/A stuff is just different enough not to work. Injectors, MAF, throttle body sensors don't exist like yours...MAP, etc.

It really depends on the years and models. If you are trying to put an 04+ harness into a 97-03 you'd have to swap the connector to the fuse box and a bunch of other items. If you are trying to use an L67 in an 04+ car then swap over the fuel rail/injectors to an L32 and almost all the rest works.

Thanks for the advice! Looks like I'd have to chop that harness all up to make it work so will probably just get an L67 harness.

Or get an L36 harness from the same year (as long as it's not 97) and you can easily change the map connector and add the BCS wiring/connector.

I know it's easy.. cause I've done it a couple of times.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind if I run across an L36 harness in great shape.
