you need a tune up real bad. or the cat is clogged up.

drive it at night when its real dark out. drive it some what hard, not enough to make the light flash cause thats bad, then look under the car, see if the cat is glowing red, or the down pipe.

Start out by looking up the evap code and ensuring/fixing whatever it is. Some can cause a huge vacuum leak and leak you out. Flashing check engine light is a possible catalyst damaging condition. Whiich could be fueling related or otherwise.

I always start off fixing the known issues and go from there.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

WELL!!!!!!!! Thats another guess that wasn't it. Guess I should've took it in the rear and went to the dealer and found out the real reason..Because all of the suggestions I've gotten have cost me as much as the dealer fixing the problem...
    1. New wheel bearings( because was told the ABS light was on)...didn't solve the problem
    2. Anti lock brake controller, new
    3. Struts
    4. Coil packs, new
    5. new plugs
    6. new wires
    7. New supercharger coupler( because it was rattleing)...that fixed the problem!!!!!
    8. Idler control valve, new
    9. Throttle Positioning sensor, new
    10. MAP sensor, new
    11. MAF sensor, new
    12. NOW, new CAT
    13. new O2 sensor
    14. New Radiator and cap

Still cuts out, runs like crap. Temp rising HIGH, actually runs worse now with the new CAT..
Kid, lost his job 2 weeks ago. Can't aford to put anymore money into it. Sad, but the body is IMMACULATE, new rockers...Its going to the salvage yard. We have OVER 2500 in parts and labor into it and have gone no where with it

whats the actual code/codes your getting?

could be a bad icm, or crank sensor maybe. the running hot make sure the t stat housing is bleed of air and the rad is full.

junking it seems to be a bad move. if you got that much into it may as well try more. park it till a new job pops up.

hell you could sell it for more then a jy would give you.

what year make model miles, all that happy jazz?
