One night I read through that whole thread haha. Those photos are kind of dark, but I think the first is on top of the supercharger @ 83 degrees and the second is on what he said was the water neck @179 degrees?
When I first saw that I thought of "water neck" as the thermostat housing neck, but could he have meant the intercooler hot water outlet hose/neck?

the higher temperature is going to be the supercharger. I'm pretty sure the coolant neck is the outlet of the heated coolant.

there is a lot of good information spread through out that thread, but the pictures are a bit hard to decipher.
