quite a difference in blower shaft/gear speeds with how fast people overdrive the m90

i dont see any reason not to use the proper oil. in this case with low fluid and needing a coupler...its quite a bit easier to yank the belt and wait for the parts kit to yank the snout and drop in new fluid.
