tint your tail lights, that will darken them up.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

It depends on the light they can look dark or light. In this pic they look light.
    2019 F150 XL - Make it run 12's N/A
    2012 F150 STX
    - Gonna be a race truck
    02 GT "Slowkar" 180k - Top Swap, Gen V, TOG Headers, 1.9s, e85, 3.25. It's literally the slowest e85 car ever....

i followed this how to. pretty much how we all do it. its really pretty simple. my tails were my first shot at it. they came out damn good.

just dont do more then 3 light coats, or no light will come through at all. a little goes a long way. it dont look so dark but by coat two it started to look dark. why i stopped at 2 coats.

you'll want to mask the tails off too.

scuffed prepped and masked off. i masked off my back up lights, cause i like them lol

    one coat.

    2 coats.

after the tint drys spray em with a few coats of clear coat. let them dry for a day, then wet sand again with 2,000 grit paper and then do the compounding.

    finished and installed day one.

i did these like 3 years ago now. all i do to them is a light compounding when i wax the car and then wax them. they look the same still as seen by the other pics. those are from last summer and fall.
