i dont really plan on swapping them often and if i do swap it's not that hard to just take the TB off and have at it. i dont want to buy any more stuff for this car.
it WILL run 12s with what i have...i hope..

what kinda prep is needed for quicksilver? to cover the EGR/bump and slits?
the stuff we used (reptile and i) is an epoxy that comes as a two part puddy. you knead it together and then it hardens after a while.
i roughed up the surfaces and cleaned them before i put it on.
how rough does it need to be? i wen taround with 80 grit on my grinder and wen t all around the slits and the inlet... will that be enought? and will quicksikver work the same? it looks like you have to mix it with your fingers in the same fasion and thats all i could find...
how rough should it feel?
ok cool. now with covering the egr hole. what else needs to be done? in regatrds to the egr
take the EGR off and block the holes with plates. i actually cut off the connectors that were on the EGR pipes and then RTV'd some coins on them and tightened them back down. no leaks and a block off plate for like $.30.
will this cause me to fail emmissions? or a sniffer?
how does one go about doing that?
^^^ word.
Make sure you get a valve for your feed line to the nozzle for the alky. It is suggested to put the nozzle ahead of the throttle body because putting it behind it where you have it you are always going to have vacuum on it and draw in your alky mixture during normal driving when you dont want it.
