Hi my abs and traction light will not go out scanner is not picking up any codes.. I cleaned all the hub sensors out replaced the front 2 hubs because one was bad and tested the harness's. I had to unplug my display to get the beeping to stop... My abs module is making a ticking noise?? I have been told that may be the problem? If anyone has any other input it would be awesome at this time hahah

ecbm could be bad. normal scanner wont pull the codes tho, you need a tech 2 or a snap on scanner. most shops will charge for the scan if they dont do the repair work.

Rear hubs can also cause the ABS light to trip.

Also, the scanner Advance Auto uses told me which hub had the issue when my light was on. Mine was just a broken wire though.

05 up cars seem to be able to get the abs codes with a normal scanner. older cars are sol there.

the abs code hods the key.

    if you cant scan it.

could be a bad hub. each wheel jacked up, lugs tight, see if the wheel has play, push pull the top of the tire. if you feel any play that hub could be bad. check all 4 wheels.

Broken wire is common. But that would throw a solid light.

Not necessarily. I had the broken wire issue and sometimes my light wouldn't trip until I hit a bump.
