I put magnaflow on my ss zzp exhaust helped quite a bit on the rasp but still have a drone, but the 3" is what Im thinking makes it drone like it does. Thats with the original zzp mufflers( not quiet)

I had a magnaflow res with magnaflow mufflers on my last grand prix, it sounded good but it was too loud for me. I swapped out the magnaflow res for a zzp quieter res and liked it better but it was still too loud. I dont plan on changing my exhaust on my current grand prix, stock sounds best.

    I used a stock resonator.

    With aftermarket mufflers.

    And catless headers.

    Was quiet enough.

Then I just cut everything off because I didn't care.

cool thanks to everyone who posted. I found this resonator and i was about to buy it but i am worried it may be too big for the gtp? (36 inch total length with a 6 inch case diameter?)

    It's a resonator.

    It quiets stuff down.

It all works, glasspacks are $30~. Just use one of those.
