My car has had a hard start problem. Doesn't want to start with just a key turn. Takes a little press of the gas peddle to start. Runs fine once started.
I swapped the Fuel Pressure Regulator with my other car. After swap the car starts fine. The car also had a p102 MAF code. I pulled the MAF sensor and it was obviously dirty. Cleaned it and replaced it. The car has also had a downstream O2 sensor code, can't remember the number.
Here is the question.....
The other car I swapped with still starts fine also. Could the fuel pressure regulator be causing a rich condition that doesn't cause a start problem right away? But will after some time? Should I replace it?
