you need no t's really if you follow the 97 routing, under the snout goes to the map sensor, off the tree to the fpr, the boost by pass solenoid.
your evap hose starts on the fat nipple on the TB facing the rad. it flips up and over the tb to the rear of the engine.
my evap hose off the tb, mine broke, i made the new line to the hard line. the hard line leads to the evap.

Why did you use the T's for, are there any benefits when you do that?

I would say so...
It's not so special when you consider the H/G/C body cars had the same routing and evap in 96 and 97.
It's the GP people that are "special".
