    Main issues are IS and chain. TC is usually OK. 300m IS and 7/8 will hold pretty reliably.
    04 GTP -HAI, 1.9 rockers.

    so 3k split between engine and tranny should do quite a bit.

    hell i dumped 1500 into camming my monte the "right way" set something on the engine in the hollow under the lim, had lunch came back forgot it was there and put the motor together... I learned two things that week, just because you spend lots of money on a project doesnt mean itll work, and always have a back up car.
