Check and make shure your fueling is correct. If your leaning out from fuel system issues, she would definitely knock.(unless this problem started right after you modded, then its more likely a tune issue.)

I was running NGK 1 heat range cooler...And I ran those far too long.. Say 60,000 or so and was seeing upwards of 7 degrees of knock then I changed the plugs out tongk tr6 iridium's.. And added plug wires and coilpacks from zzp.. Before I was running msd coils.. And also put a ported to on from zzp.. Like I said earlier in the post, car runs like new at light , half and three quarters its that damn full throttle..

Hmm. Some people have said iridiums can cause KR issues because the small point of spark can be a hotspot.. but not anywhere 7*. Wouldn't hurt to try autolite 104s tho to see if it makes any difference.

Then you have issues else where... could be the tune if it is going super lean which is VERY bad for the motor. Otherwise its a mechanical issue.

Where would the most likely spot be for the headers hitting? The downpipe area ?

Yeah downpipe area is common. original O2's could probably be replaced, but most likely not causing all this knock.

One more thing.. Could a bad lower motor mount cause downpipe to hit?

It could allow the motor to move more making it hit, only way to tell is get under there and look. Put it in D or R and have a friend rev it and hold the brake while you look under.

Most plugs will appear white. Checking the plugs needs to be done immediately after a wot run, or it really does no good to check them.

Your tune is probably the issue you see knock. It's probably commanding too much timing.
