So I'm going to be starting a build soon. I'm currently porting and polishing my heads. Than I'm going to get a valve job. I have a Gen V and a LIM im going to throw at it.

Below are the parts I would like to install.
Your input would help a lot.

    S1X cam
    Comp cams 140 lbs springs
    Modified retainers
    New seals and locks
    LS7 lifters
    Stock rockers
    Reusable rocker bolts
    Double roller or new stock?
    3.2 mps
    42.5 or 60 lbs injectors
    And possibly meth injection

    Am I forgetting anything?

140 lb springs are pretty overkill for just an S1X cam... I would do titanium retainers and 105s/130s, Stock lifters are fine, New stock chain, should run E85 and a 2.8 xD but if you're going to stick to 91/93 or w/e then yeah that looks good.

Do you mean leave stock lifters in or buy new stock?
    so E85/Meth/2.8/S1X/130s/60lb/ sounds decent
any other little things? Like fuel pump rewire?

E85 or Meth, FWIW meth doesn't have a lot of gains on top of e85. Most people will say "LS7" Lifters are the same or basically the same as stock replacements. So that one is up to you.

    So yeah,

    E85
    2.8 pulley
    s1x
    105/130lb springs
    60 lb injectors
might need a high flow fuel pump.

And probably drop to 103/104 autolite spark plugs.

I already have speed daddy headers. I want a intense tune. But zzp is half the distance....
Which pump would you recommend. I'm going to get a racetronix rewire..

buy a new stock timing chain when you throw the cam in. (don't need a double roller)

s1x with 105# springs and ti retainers.

What pump would you guys run with a racetronix rewire?. A rewire usually comes with installation guide right?

installation of a rewire is cake. its pin B5 in the middle plug it you look at the bottom side of the fuse box under the hood. the other end has pigtails on it for the pump and vehicle side. its simple.

Uh oh. My fuse box is in my center console...
idk if that makes it easier or harder. Idk what the harness looks like.
What pump do ppl usually run when they are going to run e85 and racetronix rewire?

I'm sure it's been said before, but why plastic over metal?

Oh pffft! I thought it had something specifically to do with the E85. If that's the case, I should be fine with my 'ol tin tank.

    Rust? What's that!

If you're in the jy all tanks will have holes cause they can't be stored with any fuel out there in the yard. So the punch holes to drain. Most of them are still fixable though. When my tank caught a leak back in the day I just ordered one off eBay for 60 bucks shipped.
