    Since it's not the boost levels that's the problem, what is the problem with the sc applications and smaller pulleys? I know that fuel is the number one as without that, yeah fireworks.

    Smaller pulley=much hotter air charge.
    Heat=KR.
    theres a reason these SC's are called "Heatons"
    E85, race gas, Cam, or intercooler would be the next thing to prevent knock and allow a lower pulley.

    I get the kr part and I'm scanning for that once I drop down again. How does the cam play into lower kr? The time the chaimbers stay open.

    More flow, and usually lowers boost, reducing restriction, allowing you to spin the SC faster.

    Superchargers are like 35% parasitic on an engine whereas a turbo is like 0% parasitic. I read that on these forums somewhere back a few years ago.
    Because of the extra energy the engine has to use to turn the supercharger through the belts and everything, it is parasitic. A turbo, which is spun by the exhaust gasses, is not parasitic. Thats why at the same boost level, a turbo will help produce more power

    Not trying to nitpick you, you are mostly right, just want to point out that there are some parasitic losses with using a turbo. The turbo behaves like an exhaust restriction to some degree, which necessitates the engine working somewhat harder. Can't say exactly how much harder. Still worlds more efficient than the M90, though.

    +2mpg so it cant be that much of a exhaust restriction, made the rest of the exhaust hella quiet though

    It's a restriction to a point, but nothing noticeable really. I mean making it turn truly isn't that hard seeing how you can spin their turbines rather fast just by hand =o
    But yes, I can kinda see where you're coming from. And it's okay, I don't mind being corrected.
    Truly what I should have said was the turbo is very slight loss if anything. But it kinda makes up for it =P
