Hello guys from the land downunder

i currently have a RWD L67 an looking to convert to e85 seems theres a service station around the corner from me that now stocks e85 and a few others around my state.

i know i need at least 60lb injectors so i'm going with deka's and a walbro 400lph fuel pump i don't need to swap tanks as my car comes factory with a plastic one

any tips from someone who has done it?and what gains did you get?

anyway here's some pics of my L67 2001 Holden Vx Calais same platform as the GTO

You should be able to drop a few pulley sizes and increase timing

i'm currently running 3.3 pulley apparently it's ment to make 13psi,whats the lowest that you guys think to go on a non cooled motor?every aussie l67 owners says the 10psi.

as for e85 does anyone have dyno sheets? for running it on 98ron and e85?

Of course there is drivetrain power loss that'll happen in any application. I'm thinking about getting a spare pcm and tuning it for e85 for my comp g

aww yeah,do you need the rewire kit because the extra draw from the pump on the power system?with the e85 in car did you extra power?

I havent installed it yet its at the shop getting heads and cam right now, but im kinda doing everything at once so I should be in for some big gains. I dont know anything about your car but the grand prix have a dinky little fuel pump harness and it constricts power to the fuel pump, Thats why I bought one.

What mods have you done so far, I really like your headlights, car almost resembles a gto, or "holden manaro"

the mods are tune,3.7 diff gears,13psi pulley (3.3),corvette servo in the auto, hytec headers,2.5 inch twin ss commodore v8 exhaust. and 1.9 ratio yt roller rockers, kyb shortened shocks superlow king springs all round with ve commodore 60th anniversay 18inch alloys and hsv monaro headlights.

yes this car is basically a 4 door gto/monaro everything from the front doors to the seats are the same,i can bolt a gto front straight on,it shares alot of v8 parts from the drive train.exhaust and the m80 diff with irs.

e85 is like free HP, and kr repentant.

us fwd guys have traction issues, they like to just spin vs hook up.

thats a damn nice car too. but the steering wheels on the wrong side mate lol

good old knock retard.....funny we had a new guy not to long ago, thought he was being insulted when asked if he scanning for knock retard lol

e85 is like 106 octane. its like race fuel, all that extra octane kills the kr.

inside looks damn nice, that would take some getting used to tho. being a left wheel guy my whole life. shifting with my left hand would be the biggest oddity i think.
