Stock tune should run it OK even with the TB. But the TB will throw off the fuel trims. So a good custom tune should be on the list.

Yea , I have a tuner for my ls2 Gto , but not sure if he would be comfortable tuning my l67.. He uses HP tuners, so I'm not sure if he could tune.. He mostly tunes on ls motors

I put a zzp hvtb on my last gtp and it ran fine. I am curious why you went with the 130 lb springs with that extreme energy cam. the powerband is from 1000 to 5500 so im curious what you are revving it to. I am considering this cam because it should do good with the 90 lb springs I have

Actually it was recommended to me when I bought the cam package.. interestingly enough, I broke a spring doing a burnout.. And was surprised because I never thought I'd break one..
I installed plugs, wires and coils because I had 70,000 on them and was getting around d 7 degrees of knock.. Figured I'd get a hvtb whole I was at it..
Car runs so much better at part throttle, but when I get into it, I'm still seeing allot of knock..
Anther forum guy suggested I change my o2's since they are stock.. That and I need to get a custom tune.. I currently run a canned tune

You could put a bigger pulley on it to help reduce the knock

I'm only running a 3.4 with a can and full exhaust.. I've been told I should be able to go smaller with my mods

Cam, 3.4, full exhaust as in catback? Or full exhaust as in headers and everything?

    Okay.
Hmm... 7° is quite high for a cam/headers/proper exhaust work/3.4"/tune

I mean could be a really screwey tune, but I would think even with a crappy tune you would see less than 7°

    All your plugs okay?
    Any misfires?
    No codes?

I have a cam/3.4"/headers/no cat/partial tune/AL 104's and I see up to 8.1° of knock but I am convinced that knock is because I way overtightened my knock sensors. Neither of mine are at 14 ft-lbs =/

When I took my old plugs out, they where really white which to me ment too lean. However I would on very hot days would get a p0420 code I've got a high flowing cat . so I'm thinking its an o2 sensor.. Could they cause a lean condition? They have 112,000 on them..

Speaking of knock sensor's... Should they be replaced? Car is a 2003 with 112,000 miles and knock sensors are original.
