I installed a north star throttle body, 42 lb injectors, and an intercooler. on the highway under a heavy load, the car hesitates. I think the car hesitates because it is running too rich. the car also has a lopey idle even though the cam is stock.<span style="font-family:arial;"><font size="4">

    Did you tune at all?
The LQ4 maf readings are different from the stock maf. You need to tune for all the mods you did. Also if you have a scanner check for long term fuel trims. If it is pegged at 16.4+ then you have a vacuum leak and the pcm is dumping fuel for the extra unmeasured air.

Whats up with your boost bypass valve....every time you hit the throttle the body of it moves too, not just the valve?? Did you tighten it??

Im using a zzp tune, they should have adjusted for the maf and injectors. I will have to tighten the bbv, I thought it looked funny.

Check for vacuum leaks. Large enough vacuum leaks give the engine a lopey idle.

the LT b1 stays at 16.4 when im idling, but when im driving around it fluctuates up and down. the BBV is tightened down, its the black part that dosent stay seated. how do I get it to stay seated?

You have a vacuum leak. Gotta find it. That'll fix your rich issue and your idle and what not.

Yup, you have a vacuum leak. If you are all sealed up it should fluctuate between -3 to +3 and mainly sit a 0. Time to break out the carb cleaner.

The body of the BBV is bolted to the supercharger with 2 10mm bolts

Those bolts are right, it's only the black part that does not stay flat on the mount

If the bbv is bolted fast then it's broken and needs replaced.

I replaced the vacuum lines going to the BBV and going from the BBV and secured the BBV to the bracket. The car is running real good now. I am still planning on a custom in car tune and I am hoping to drop to a 3.1" pulley.

I think I may have inadvertently rtv'd my pcv when I installed the intercooler. here are some pictures of what I see when I look down into the pcv on the supercharger case.

is this what it is supposed to look like?

With the PCV plugged it should run fine. You don't get positive air flow across the engine.

If the back port is open and the front port is plugged you put to much vacuum to the engine and the front seal will squeal. It is being sucked in.

Take the PCV valve and the spring out. I think there may also be a plastic piece under the spring. See if you can pull the RTV up. The vacuum flow direction is up into the supercharger.

Reach down into the hole with a drill bit and knock it loose. Pull or vacuum the RTV.
