Alright, this feels like a total newbie question to ask, and I know all setups are different. . . but it seems i'm having to run a much bigger pulley than I should on my setup and the car doesn't feel as fast as is should be.
tried a 3.2 pulley and would get 2-4* kr at the top of 2nd. that's with 17* timing and low 11's afr on wideband.
Mod's are as follows:

-S1x cam w/ crow 105 springs and stock chain. chain is stretched 1 tooth-don't know if that would cause the knock though-correct me if i'm wrong
-FS WBS IC with reservoir-yes pump is working I've checked
-80lb injectors w/ PRJ pump and rewire
-catless 2.5" DP to stock exhaust(with stock res) then magnaflow mufflers welded to stock exhaust
-ZZP headers
-currently running high octane til I get this issue resolved and can switch to E85 again
-NGK tr6 plugs gapped at .050
-I tune with DHP and have thoroughly looked for any issues in my .bin

After I through a rod in my l32 last year I bought a 60k L67 short block and it seems I have to be way more conservative with pulley size.Anybody else experience this? I remember running a 3.2 pulley with 20* timing and absolutely no knock prior to this. that was with 1.9 rockers instead of the cam,all other mods the same.

My only guesses are as follows:
IC core is pretty old-thinking about replacing it
valve float with the 105's could be causing vibration/knock. 2-3 shift point is set just over 6k
bucket isn't staying full of fuel. I have a venture pump but it's not functioning properly. regardless, fueling stays a consistent low 11 even when knock is present
as stated before, mechanical timing is a bit off due to slightly stretched chain
Just thinking aloud here
or . . . car is just sensitive to knock and i'm gonna have to stay where i'm at . . . ?

Not trying to chase the pulley here just want to be able to run a respectable pulley size and have the car feel good for the amount of mod's done to it.

Speak up if you have any ideas
