Air to air is the way to go for turbo because of simplicity.

Water to air for turbo is different than a water to air for a roots supercharger.

Curious on this question as well.

Why is Air to Air better for a turbo rather than Water to Air?

It all comes down to simplicity.

The supercharger ics are about 5% as good at intercooling as my water to air is.. upgrade the core to something decent sized and sell your under blower core or go air to air.

I thought about doing A/W on my setup, but decided A/A style instead

    1) Simple install
    2) no water leaks, no pumps to crap out, ect.
    3) Even tho I don't street/daily, water will warm up eventually and not cool as well.. at the track you ice it down and nice gains in cooling.

m90 IC stinks.. ditch it and go A/A and move on with things.
