Looking through these forums and several others there seem to be several 1 1/4" upgrades out there.

I read the radiator for the 98 monte/96 cutlass/96 prix are all the bigger ones
Some threads say use the 432387, others say the 432694? Are they the same but one of those needs different fittings?

None of my local parts stores seem to carry the 1 1/4 anymore, and i'm now in the mix with rock auto shipping me a second 1" in the box for a 432387...

Where can I find one of these 1 1/4" radiators? Or are there some other part numbers I can search for that fit?

i just changed mine, i was only able to find 5/8 and 1 inch cores listed. 1 inch should be more then enough.

getting hard to find the 1.25"

i had a hard time finding the 1 3/8ths "true" LQ1 radiator, an old delphi from back in 04.
found plenty of 1.25" till we finally found a fatty through my buddy at grossinger chevy.

if your lucky youll find an LQ1 in the junkyard with the 1.25" that has been replaced.

1.25" cools 608 fwhp just fine. the 1" is all youll need if your looking to get up and running

I got mine from rock auto. Look under 95 monte Carlo 3.4 for spectra part#cu1518 looks like $102. Ran it 2 years now with out a problem. Stock lower hose works just have to cut it shorter so it won't hit the ac compressor.

Rock Auto didn't want to send me a third one, they simply told me to get a refund and they would let me know if they get the boxing problems sorted out from the manufacturers. I got another one from another company on the way.... When the wrong one is in that box too ill try and find a cu1518.

    Thanks

The ones from car parts.com are 1" in the box labeled 1.25 as well.

Now ill try and order one with that 1518 number and see.

Edit: cu1518 is a 1" core in the box from spectra, I got someone to open a box.

432694 doesn't seem to be a part number nothing came up when doing a search.
This is the radiator that everyone says to use, there is a thread on here with instructions and such as to what all you need to run it

Yeah, the problem is the 432387 says it's a 1 1/4 but in the box is a 1". And that part number seems to be the same from like 10 different manufacturers. pro-vista, proliance, murray, ready-rad, kool ace, ect...

Hmm. Someone said something one time about a 4.3 S-10 rad fitting. Supposedly that was what the zzp radiator was, but they don't even look the same so idk.
I would just pick one of the 1inch ones the stock size is 7/8 so even that extra 1/8 of an inch is better.

This one (radiator #5) showed up today from radiator express....It's a pro-vista 432387 1" core as well. Guess the bigger ones don't exist.
