top speed

what is the top speed of these cars ? I was told that there was a govener at 167 km/h. I had mine going well over that, it hit 200 km/h and the hud went blank. The car is a 1998 gtp should there be a govener on it ?

I "think" the top speed of the 97-03 gtps were 126. The compg of 04-05 were 142mph.

you didnt hit it yet. 200 km/h = 120 mph?

its like 121 or 124 or something. unless it is removed, which is very plausible.

My GT shut off at 110 and my 05 GTP shut off at 140 I havent got the 07 up past 115.

Well for me it with 3.29 gears i didnt have much more to spare. Excuse my dumb ass roomate screaming. My girlfriend was in the back seat not saying a word. Go figure.

152MPH on the GPS

Too bad i didnt have a 6 speed like that svt cobra that was basicly walking me. He ran 13.0 at the track with slicks.

i hit 156 in my 99 GTP but i have a DHP 1.0 with my Shut off set at 255

wow..I seriously need to get into my computer. I wish I had an easy way to do it. Cuz I don't want to waste my time and do a "little" bit of tuning before I do serious modding and have to really tune for real. Grr..I'm jelous. I would be happy with 140-150mph. Not that I have anywhere to go that fast, but it would be cool to say.
