I was about to Order this SLP Performance Parts Thermostats when I started to think what makes this diiferent from Duralast / Thermostat Note: 180 degrees
    Alternate temperature

Same temp different price, Is there any performance difference in them? also is there a right up on changing your thermostat

Ok everyone let's answer his actual question. And not answer the question of will a thermostat bennefit him any.LOL

There is no difference between the two. Some claim to flow more and that may be the case but usually anything you buy that is aftermarket will outperform OEM....Well,As far as thermostats go anyway.

    Hope that helps.

    Okay dad!

Yeah, I never really found much difference in stats. But, what I would recommend, is that you test the t-stat before you install it. I do this to every one before I install it in my car. Just take a pan of water, put the t-stat in it, and start to heat it. I then put a thermometer in the pan of water to watch what the temp is. Any meat or candy thermometer will work fine. Just make sure it opens near the temp it should. If not, take it back. I have gotten ones that open much before the advertised temp, and some that didn't open at all. It only take a minute or two and makes sure you don't have problems later.

Unscrew the 2 10mm thermostat housing bolt's...take off thermostat....install new gasket if needed....reasemble....

And no you didnt ask if it would but typically someone will pop up and say It won't help you and the thread will get off subject lol

Just got part may put on today, Sure its not going to make me faster lol, But I got my CAI also. Just need time to but them on now

SO lets see I got my a104s my cia and thermostat. Pulley Downpipe and PCM are next. Question when should I tune PCM I have a local guy that will tune PCM for 100 bucks and then will retune with each mod added for free. My next mod I am getting is a DP, Should I tune PCM after downpipe or after Pulley

If you're going to get free re-tunes, get the tune done now and then again with the new pulley. Otherwise, wait until after the pulley.
