My 04 impala was amazing in the snow! Even with the 20"s on it. And the tires on my stock rims weren't the greatest but still never lost control in it

i like the hood on the gtp did you buy it like that?
What kind of tires?
Yeah The hood came on the car but I sold it, it didn't fit right since the front apron is a little bent from an accident before I owned it. And as for the tires, honestly I don't remember lol I think they were like GT radials or something like that

That's funny, GT radials are on the backs of our impala and the back always swings out.
Your rear suspension might be jacked up. I can't get my rear end to kick out even if I try
You can, push the e-brake lol
I was actually looking into suspension being the problem earlier today, but then I realized it was 17 degrees outside and figured it would be better if I were watching tv and eating pizza. So that's what I did hahaha

And yeah I bet the E brake would do the trick lol

The fuel pump is different in a gtp. The supercharged engines have a higher volume fuel pump and 97-00 uses a "2 speed" fuel pump, which uses a resistor and relay to obtain both speeds. So you will need to swap out the pump and be sure you bring the resistor with the engine harness.

My parking brake doesn't work
this what happen to my last GP when this guy ran his red light

FWIW stock engine the pump shouldn't be an issue.
Depending on whether pulling top or bottom is easier for you, I'd swap it over, if you want to do harness too.. check the pinouts. I believe they are the same, would check though. Get the pcm tune updated for the single stage pump (aka no high speed relay code etc) and you should be good.
Shoot find me a completely rust free car! Lol, but body doesn't look too bad, but like your buddy said i wouldn't spend more on it. Swap it over if you can, and good thing i got your hood off before the accident to make sure it didn't get harmed;) And I havent had any problems lately with my car in the snow. I can get my rear end to "fish tail" but only if i try haha. I have been being so careful during this crap.
Damn, glad that didn't happen to mine! And at least you didn't get hurt! But As far as the fuel pump goes I knew about that but I completely over looked it lol thanks for the reminder! I'm also swapping my black interior into it but it's a four door so I'll have to deal with ugly brown door panels for now :/ but I'm stripping everything that's salvageable off of my car and putting it into the new one. Then scrapping the rest of it so if anyone needs anything I may have I'd be glad to sell or give it to them depending on what it is and if they're local or not. But believe me, it's much worse than it looks in the picture! Lol

Found me a better body to swap my engine and trans into (: 1998 Daytona 500 GTP. #1021 of 1500 and one of the 200 with a sunroof. 126,000 miles, clean interior, passenger door and quarter panel have dents but nothing too serious, mis colored replacement bumper, and has a rod knock and bad trans. But being that I have my gtp I can use for parts after the motor and trans swap I'll throw those on this car and have it repainted this spring/summer. Best part about..ABSOLUTLEY 100% RUST FREE!! Not bad for less than $500 huh?

Nice!
It's just going to suck trying to get the paint to match when I replace the damaged body parts!
