Thinking about getting a zzp down pipe. And just throwing it in. Make it easier. How bad is this to drive on for my car?

cut the cat open if you need to drive it like this, your better off. do your best not make the light flash.

being your a 01 you'll want to keep the rear o2 working. so maybe get a walker cat and DP or just have the cat changed at a shop. ( they could do the U bend delete while they are there, if you have one of them) try to stay away from hi flow cats.

you'll need them anti fouler's and hope they fool the pcm. 01 is a messed up year for the rear o2 sensor. theres a thread on deleting them. or making them work not sure any more lol

if its a zzp catted dp it will have a hi flow cat. walker is stock replacement. aka not hi flow.

shop around at your local shops, see what they offer price wise to cut and weld in a new cat, shouldn't be over 200. you could bring a glass pack for 25 bucks and have them put that in place of your res too, fix 2 birds with one stone.
