seriously, get the adj pushrod or a dial indicator from harbor freight and measure that sht. Its easy to do and you wont be buying a set of pushrods that may not work. I had an very similar setup(everything the same except xp cam) and i ended up needing 7.00 pushrods. Do it right the first time

Just causing headaches by using anything but stock lifters/pushrods unless you're going with a large cam that requires valvetrain mods.
You're not going to make any more power by going with LS 7/OE-R lifters on average xp and smaller type cams...but hey what do I know?

LS7 are factory replacements which are more than adequate for his setup. I didnt wanna burst his bubble and tell him that oe-r lifters are garbageeeeee. I had oer and they were noisey as fk. Switched to LS7(stock) and good to go

according to the measurements we took and the guidelines stated, i did not have too much preload.
    We took measurements 3 times.

You do have a higher post and chat count then me so you are probably right :P
