    Ladies and Gentleman,

Hi. I am new to the forum but have spent many hours reading on here. Here is a quick back ground on my car. So you know what the situation is. Picked up a loaded 2000 Grand Prix GTP Coupe two years ago. First year I owned it, it was rather trouble some. Stage one of repairs consisted of: Rack and pinion, power steering pump, HP and return hoses, front wheel bearings, and outer tie rod ends plugs and wires, fuel filter and a coolant flush, and belts and hoses. Drove for the winter and in the spring I did stage two: wheels, tires, Quick struts, and a cold air intake, u bend, different y pipe and twin magnaflows. Ran great for a year. four months ago my transmission went out. totally stb. I purchased the car with 115151 miles. Trans went out at 158001. I for the most part babied the car. garage kept. synthetic oil every 3k. yada yada yada. Stage 3: New transmission, control arm bushings, had gmpp way bar, put new bushings and end links on, added a trans cooler also, oh and ball joints. Got it put back together, sweet ride. put a 1k miles on her and the CEL started flashing. O2 upstream. O2 Down stream, converter code, and misfire codes. 02 voltages are all over the place. the car runs okay when it is cold. drive it for a mile, goes okay. gets warm, it will kill and wont start if i drive it too long. got her tore apart last night lower intake gaskets were bad, maybe some leakage on the plenum gasket. also vacuum lines were cracked at the t on the s/c. Any thoughs? advise? or otherwise? Sorry about the long read. there are things im missing. Thanks for your time!

    Josh

the getting hot and stalling and not running thing sounds like a crank sensor. Sounds like you should do the LIM and coolant elbows, and perhaps the cat if it has one?

Soooo. Installed new aluminum lower intake manifold gaskets, EGR valve gasket, S/C gasket, valve cover gaskets, throttle body gaskets, s/c oil, oil and filter, coolant, PCV, both O2 sensors, and belts and hoses, and plugs and wires. I went to start it and it runs VERY rough and will die if you take your foot off the gas. It has zero power and sounds terrible. Next order of business is compression check and fuel pressure check. Any other thoughts.....please......

Quadruple checked the wires. plugs are autolite XP104 and wires are Autolite professional series Part# 97000.

maybe one plug got a crack in it from the install? its happened before. its worth pulling the back plugs out to check, those are the ones we tend to crack. 4 and 6 typically.

Okay. I will look into that tonight, when i do a compression test. Also, is there a 'database" or single thread that lists every reading the sensors should be at? Like, MAF readings, MAP readings, TPS, yada yada yada? That would be super sweet!
