Here is what is going on:

Got an aeroforce seeing 4-6 degrees of knock now, usually when I get on it a bit but sometimes even 5% or cruising spurs KR
Seems to be a little less KR before car warms up
    Pulled SC belt, no difference
    Flipped FSB
Pulled O2 & went for ride once fully warmed up - no difference so O2 not hitting & cat not clogged
    Headers not hitting front fans
Header flex is leaking a bit from what I can hear
Aftermarket PCM of some type - fans remain on & shifting better...
Bent an AC line that seemed to contact ever so slightly the header
Bent trans tube dipstick as much as possible for clearance
    Flipped dogbones
    New stock motor mount

Was getting code P0332 & noticed the previous owner cut the frickin wire to the rear knock sensor.
I re-wired yesterday & still got KR on Knock Sensor #1 & 0.0 on knock sensor #2 (assuming rewire worked but sometimes gauge reads nothing instead of 0.0)

Where do I go from here?

Should knock sensor #2 be the rear? Should it have a reading of 0.0 or does having nothing at all mean the re-wire didn't work?
    Could it be the tune?
Timing still around 13-14 at WOT with knock
    PSI around 9 now
    O2 @ WOT is 950mV
LTFT's seem to be pulling fuel (low negative number)

I got an MPS & 3.4 on the way along with a ZZP flex

I don't care for the fluid filled motor mounts...

    How's the transmission mount?

Regardless...when I had poly mounts I just got rid of the flex to take care of the possibility of it failing in the future.

As for the knock...I'd get a real tune. Might be able to fix it.

Also: if you've got that knock on the stock pulley, the last thing I'd do is drop to a smaller one.

Trans mount looks ok but I will have another look. I thought about poly but read about vibrations in some cases, I would prefer to avoid that.
I don't plan on the 3.4 until I can figure out KR problem

Poly uppers with solid rubber lowers seemed to be tolerable.

My poly engine/trans mounts shook my fillings out, especially with the cam.

Fuel filter? Check FP @ the rail?

9psi does seem a little high for a stock pulley...ESPECIALLY with rockers and headers...that thing should be making 5-6 at the shift.

How about the BBV...it could be toast...

Have the knock sensors been replaced at some point? Reason I ask is they need to be torqued to a certain ft/lbs or could cause issues. 14 ft/lbs comes to mind for some reason.

I agree. The issue is the engine basically needs to be removed to torque the rear sensor.

you can get to the rear knock sensor with it in the car still. and torque it as well.

    Yeah.

You can do the RKS in the car.

    Just super sucks.

I doubt the PO replaced the knock sensors & I didn't even think of it during the motor swap. Would the car not throw a code if the torque was too tight causing a weird KR reading?
    Fuel filter new
Never checked FP but pump seems to whine a lot & car eats its fair share of gas
How would a blown BBV cause KR?

    Thanks for the link guys

Well, unusually higher boost numbers would first lead to me to think something is getting clogged up SOMEWHERE.

But since you removed the o2 and tested it that way...my next guess would be swap out the BBV and see...

Can you explain the logic? Thought bbv just regulated the timing of boost?

BBV seems fine, in the highest position which I think is the most conservative. Is it possible to have a bad front knock sensor & get no code?
The rear seems to report 0 KR so long as the Aeroforce actually gives me a reading.
