    Bump!
To my knowledge none of the 04+ fuel pumps had a venturi bucket from the factory but the Delphi and Airtex replacement pumps/buckets do have them. Look close you can see the venturi hose. this is the Delphi pump

Basically you could do 2 things. 1- buy a whole unit like in the pic and drop pump of your choice in it. 2- grab a 97-00 bucket with venturi and retrofit it to your tophat. This is what I plan on doing. the buckets are nearly identical and snap right into eachother. I already have the racetronix pump/rewire in my stock sending unit but it runs dry below 1/2 tank.
But Tengis is right, the returnless system on the 04+ runs at a constant 60psi and has no boost reference like the older systems. The system relies on and requires more from the injectors than the 97-03. So IDEALLY if you want to increase fuel pressure with boost, you would have to plumb a return line.
So it's not a matter of what pump will work with 04+, they pretty much all will. it's more a matter of if your setup requires that extra pressure from the pump to keep the fuel supply
    hope that helps

no an 02 bucket doesn't have a venturi port. pretty sure it's 97-00 but I've pulled some buckets out of those years and come to find not all of them have the venturi. The fuel pump you posted a link to doesn't look like it has a venturi valve either though. and yeah i'd say it's safe to say you can run regular gasoline through any fuel pump that will support E85

Has anybody actually found a good solution for an aftermarket retrofit?

I have an 04, returnless,non-venturi, and put in a AEM 50-1200. Here is where I see the problem. The stock pump draws from the bottom of the tank outside the can and also from inside of the can. So from the factory you get better low fuel consumption and no sloshing. There are two socks. Installing an aftermarket pump I either install the sock in the can or attach the pump to the sock on the bottom of the can. If I install the sock in the can I can't make use of all my fuel and will run dry with 1/4 tank left (fuel still underneath can). If you run the pump to the sock on the bottom then you get pressure drop with fuel slosh when you get lower on fuel. Either way with an aftermarket pump install you can't make use of all your fuel. Anybody ever come up with a solution? Draw from inside the can while still getting fuel from the very bottom of the tank.

I installed my AEM pump so it draws from the factory sock on the bottom of the can. When I get down to a quarter tank if I make a hard turn or sharp uphill/downhill I get pressure drop or even a stall if I am sitting on an incline. Fuel sloshes away from pickup sock and starves pump. A pain to remember that I can't use below a 1/4 tank. I am seriously considering going back to a stock pump unless I can figure out a solution.

I'm actually having the same problem in my 04 impala. Its an l67 and has the return system, but is non venturi. I have a racetronix pump that is Venturi in there now, I ran a small hose in to the bottom of the canister and used some rubber fuel line to hold it down, it works but it's not great. Also have it running to the stock sock on the bottom of the canister only. I thought the with the Venturi tube it wouldn't do that but I think the tube isn't staying down or/and the tube diameter might be too small.

I found an aftermarket canister on eBay that is Venturi for $25 that I'm going to try with the racetronix pump and see it that fixes it be the correct canister for Venturi. It strange how the aftermarket ones, even ac delco and Delphi, replacement canisters are Venturi, non of the impala's came Venturi for the factory.

Need to use a venturi style canister from a 97-00 GTp(l67) for a venturi pump to work correctly, 01 plus cars with plastic tank need to mod the module and use the bottom half of the venturi style canister mated to the top of thier stock module to fit the plastic tank. Be careful if using a 97 gtp canister as the fuel float arm from that year is 97 specific.
