Why would you drop to a smaller pulley if you're seeing KR on a stock one?

    Explain that.

    This.

You don't drop pulleys until your 100% knock free on the current one.

IIRC you only had the car for a month or 2 why are so anxious to drop pulleys? Solve your knock issue and then drop pulleys. Or risk it and look forward to engine trouble.

Oh and while your at it get rid of that 180tstat until your tuned for it.

Pulley envy is a dangerous thing

T-Stat really doesn't bother anything other than giving crappier MPG's.

I always run a 180* because I hate the hot temps these cars see at cruise when heat is their #1 enemy.

Ok so I stated the mods I have like I said I only see kr when I shift gears not sure if that's normal or not I've read stock gtps will see knock that's normal I have 0 knock till shift change so I'm asking ypu guys what can I do to eliminate knock if I already have all the supporting mods for a pulley drop? I hear a tune will help eliminate knock

    Poly mounts.

    Shift kit.

04+ cars have a more aggressive timing curve anyways.

Make sure the headers aren't making contact with anything under load. Could be false if it's only when the car shifts.

Yea check the condition of your mounts. I have poly up top and hydraulic on the bottom works done for me. One thing to especially check with the SD is that the sway bar isn't hitting it. Easy and free fix is to flip it so its facing the other way.

What part of the header would the sway bar be hitting ? Also what are signs of a bad mount I wouldn't mind buying the oily mounts for the front dogbones hopefully that would help

What part of the header? Let's try the downpipe.

If u have all those mods without a tune and see 0 kr my question is do u have a wideband o2 sensor to check ur AFR.. tunes are no good without a wideband either! A proper setup of guages of a boost, wideband afr, and aeroforce will allow u to really see what's going on!!

A wideband tune on a stock pulley will fix the KR that he has now...not likely...since he isn't getting KR except during shifts.

    Keep up.

    Yeah, get the poly uppers.

Will help a metric **** ton.

I had a terrible experience with ZZP upper poly mounts. I had the 2 piece design and every time I would throw it in a different gear or take accelerate from a light I would get this annoying ass clunk. Switched to Intense and I've been happy ever sense.

    Edit: spelling

so i took a look at my headers on my lunch break i noticed tht my tranny dipstick is touching the crossover any special techniques to bending it while its still in the car?? could that cause false knock?? also i noticed my passenger side square upper mount moves back adn forth while the engine is at idle im guessing thats signs that that mount is bad because the driver side mount barely moves at engine idle
