and junk yard engine is the cheap way to go, rebuilding these engines will cost in machine shop work, not worth it, as like dsmuts said hes modded a 200,000 mile engine. if its been taken care of they last a long time.

oh and a L32 will cost you more then a l67 or any N/A block at a junk yard or used off craigslist. the l32 will cost up to a grand. if you find it for under 500 god bless you.
Thanks for chiming in Scotty,

You said a Gen3 on a top swap is more than enough and a GenV isn't all that. I hate to be such a noob man, but what did you mean by that? I already have a Gen3, so what would I top swap? And I guess that you're saying the GenV blower swap may not be worth it?

Just to clarify; I got a bad trans in a high mileage car. I was planning for a rebuilt trans, then some struts/sways, then some engine mods. I was planning to go the 3.4 pulley route (and supporting mods) with my L67, but it occurred to me that I may be able to get a lower mileage L32 from a junk yard. I understand the stock L32/GenV has more power than the L67 and a better supercharger sound. but I didn't know if a stock L32 would be as powerful as an L67 with those mods. So that's why I was looking for swap threads and asking questions.

Just trying to learn my options and costs; and plan for a build. Even if an L32 would need a little help mod wise for extra power, maybe it would be worth the cost if the mileage was low enough. But that doesn't seem to be the opinion on here so far.
