it all depends on what pcm base file you are going to run... there are basically two options. 1) run a GTP pcm base file and change the trans settings for the GT trans, or 2) use the GT base file and adjust fuel spark and other engine settings to run the SC engine.
If you use the GTP base file then you will need to add the BBV harness pined into the pcm harness. both setups suggest swapping to the 2 bar map from a gtp. but if you use the GT base file then you will not need to add the BBV harness. either way if tuned correctly it is not needed for either setup
I used a Gtp engine file with my factory trans settings and a Gtp map sensor without any issues. The Gtp map sensor was plug n play.
The 04+ have diff connectors then the older l67 map
When I did my top swap I ordered the conversion kit from Intense. It came with the MAP adapter and the BBV sol. harness. John at Intense tuned my PCM, but not sure what he used as a base. I'd say a GT base and adjusted... I do not run the harness for the BBV sol, my mine runs purely off vacuum. No SES and works perfect. Here's a pic I edited to show...
