Just uploaded it, help me diagnose that engine sound, is that rockers? i reopende valve covers to torque them down to 25 lbs, i have a fuel issue, i have 60s in , the driver side line leaks, Its kinked and needs to be replaced, i also have vac leak, im not sure whats going on with it.

The other video you can hear an vacuum leak, it goes away a lil the passenger side is dripping what i thought was coolant because i thought to myself no way in the hell it can be fuel, my line is dry on passenger but its dripping. so i take it all apart and retorqued all the rockers to 25 pounds, put new coolant elbows in, got her fired up and same problems. Im kinda ticked off.

My buddy tuned it I believe with an overkill tune for a 3.4 on 42.5 injectors on a gen v, I have 3.4 on but i think he tuned me for 60s because he said he had to change the pulse for 60s to work.

does he know a damn thing about tuning 3800s? and 60s on a tune that started out as setup for 42s? im not saying the tune is the issue and that noise def sounds like valvetrain noise but i cant tell where from when the ph9ne is next to the open cone intake. all i hear is sucking from the intake mostly

Should i start taking it apart again and take off the fuel rail and see if thats the issue? I'm about ready to just buy a 500 dollar fuel log, braided lines and be done with the fuel part

There are two videos now. I put LS7 lifters in and i got modded rockers from greg and reusable rocker bolts, I put the pushrods in, put the lifters in according to spec, then the rockers, im not sure what we could of done wrong.

I'm not sure how to fix the noise, I already opened it up again and torqued the rocker bolts to 25 pounds front and back covers. Is it the lifters?

    For reference

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...1-Help-w-noise!

And that was with stock lifters, I had a set of LS7s that ended up throwing in there and noise was still there.. Ended up measuring for pushrods length and going with some 6.95 which made it slightly quieter.

It's not hard at all but will require that the lim/sc/IC comes off.. I can only imagine a shop is going to rape you on labor cost. Probably better that you do it yourself.

Sounds like you have a colapsed lifter. Did you let them soak in oil befor installing them?

No i didnt no i needed to . But i did figure out the fuel issue. I have an injector on the rear on the passenger side that is clearly pissing out fuel. what do I do from here though? Is there a way to get it to seat better without taking it apart? Its a zzp modded fuel rail. could this also be causing my other issues?

Hey Tyler sounds familiar lol? Seriously i had the same issue when you installed the injectors.. in the rails did wedge them in there? Did you check the rails before you installed them? my guess is the rails might be bent allowing the injector to not be seated in the head could you take a picture where it is leaking at?
