I finally found a replacement engine for my 98 GP GT.......a supercharged 3.8 from a Buick Park Avenue. Wasn't planning to go this route, but the price for the whole car was only a whopping $300, cause the tranny is toast in the Buick. Now, I know what I need to do tranny wise to hook up to my non HD. My question is, what parts are relatively easy to replace for preventative maintenance in a L67? Thinking all gaskets, crank position sensor, larger Mallory wires around 10 mm or so, plugs, etc. I have a SD stainless steel header set that will be going on while the engine is out. Might do a the cam too. Still need to read/search further. Both cars are untouched at this point, nmd I am trying to get all of my research and parts ready.

Yeah, that thread was to see if the Park Avenue Ultra motor would work into my NA 98 GP GT Turned into discussion on EGR delete and my headers/exhaust. Bought the Park Avenue Ultra. Now, trying to find out what should be replaced that is supercharger specific? And do I need to change anything in regards to my stock fuel system being a non supercharged car?

    Swap:

    Rear exhaust manifold
    Flex plate
Remove PA motor mount and put bolt that plugs hole (above WP near coil pack) from old motor into the new one.
    Oil filter adapter
PA oil pressure sensor for GP oil switch
Add GP lower motor mount to PA motor
Add GP upper driverside mount to PA motor
Change coil pack bracket to GP mount/bracket
Confrim alternator bracket is the same.
Solder the map connector onto the GP harness (wire colors match up to old sensor)
Figure out how you want the fuel lines to connect.

Drop it in and connect it up.
Have pcm programmed for the changes.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
