Thread: P0442 trouble code?

Well I got the service engine soon light again. This time it is a code P0442 code. Evap system.

Anyone have an idea on the problem/ common problems with this? I know the gascap is one item, but I just had emission/inspection done last month, and it passed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK, just saw in another post when doing a search that it is probably the gas cap. So I will try that first.
