I have a 1998 gtp with a smaller sc pulley, when I get on the car, I get full boost. After a few minutes of driving I only get half the amount, seems like this happens when the car get to normal operating temp. Anyone have any idea why this would happen?

How do you know that you are only getting half boost? I hope your not basing your questions on the boost gauge the car comes with. Let us know!!

It's possible your belt could be loose due to either being old and stretched out or your tensioner is not keeping sufficient tension. Or it could be you BBV. Those are a couple simple things to look at.

The belt is new, and the tens is also new. What do i have to look at on the bbv?

Lower line means bad solenoid. Upper line means bbv actuator.

Question is...why are you going into boost when you're not at operating temperature in the first place?
