I had to replace my upper motor mounts and when pryingthe engine forward to line up the holes I broke a vaccum line going to a cylinder on the back of the fuel rail/engine.

I would think it would only effect the cruise because it could cause a vacuum leak? I know on older vehicles the cruise works via vacuum. I just don't need a vacuum leak and I was running knock free on a 3.5 then started to get KR slowly over the past few weeks. Ported the blower and it just kept steadily creeping higher so I replaced the beat up upper mounts and swapped the fuel filter which was dumping blackened fuel so hopefully its gone.

Most likely your biggest leak is a the throttle body with the hose that leads to the evap you replaced. I like to use a piece of 3/8" hose (about 1inch) then an adapter from 3/8 to 1/4 and run 1/4 hose the rest of the way to the evap.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

this fat line looping over to the rear of the engine is the evap vac line, i used a fat vac line, to a smaller on that fit inside the fat one, and on the plastic line to the evap.

double check all the T's too, they seem to crack real easy, both of mine cracked when i did my lim.

Ya I replaced that line for the evap when I put the new part on, had no choice it sheered off when I touched it lol. The T fittings are all sloppy loose and the two smaller rubber lines ontop of the blower are dry rotted all to hell.

i found my T's at advance auto, they were the only once who had the small t's, the rest were in the help section, they were huge and ugly, and over priced.

the 2 i got ran me 2 bucks, 2 per pack. the vac line cost 3 bucks, nice and cheap fix.

Well bleh... Filled it with smoke and no leaks anywhere, I have a Overkill canned tune in it and I believe he disables the egr codes? I am wondering if the valve is closing all the way at idle or if its sticking. I know when I pulled the blower and throttle body all the gaskets were cooked and the throttle body was filthy.
