my $.02 I have had SD headers for 2 years now and the flex that came with them is still good. cant really say how hard they were to install as i installed them while i swapped the engine so it was easier... and the fact that I had to cut and beat the hell out of the fire wall so they would fit on my 96 Monte. Headers are normally cheaper and flow better then Plog&DP
the big issue here is the OP is adding mods and tweaking this GTP for his young kid! Yes I know he wants his toy... but the extra power could put his child at risk if she doesn't respect it. Cheap Fast Reliable.... you can only have two! basically any mod you throw at it increase the chance for failure.
