What's your actual calculated gas mileage? Is it on the metric setting?

You left way too much info out.

We need to know what fuel you are using, what kind of driving you do. Any recent tune ups done to the car?

Also don't forget the cold weather will reduce gas mileage and never follow the DIC 100%, do the math by hand and reset the avg mpg everytime and see how close it is to the real mpg.

And yes a bad EGR will affect mpgs on the freeway when it is active.

I never trust my DIC anymore. It can be off up to 2 MPG in either direction.

Do real hand math and get back to us. As we said the DIC is not something to trust.

When it's sitting and idling it's getting 0 mpg.

Do you let it warm up or idle on cold mornings? It was -10F last week, mine ran 10 before and after work several days. I like a warm car so this drops my mile alot. Cold weather drops mileage.

May sound like a dumb question but is you dic set to km? I had an 1981 Eldorado V8 6 4 and the estimations were off. I was getting 70 mpg at a red light. If I was you I would do the math by hand it will be more accurate that way.
