he said his intake valves are leaking, and a bore scope would have a hard time seeing the cause of that.

A better suggestion would be to unbolt the rockers, as for some stupid crazy reason 3800's like to crack valves open when they are supposed to be closed.

Would maybe getting the bolts tighter or looser help? I mean i didnt check for anything when i put the pushrods in and torqued the rockers down. i just dropped them in randomly and torqued the bolts to spec, so idk if that might be the issue here although i was told it didnt matter.
