Hey guys, On build #2 (L67)... Here is what I have so far...

    ValveTrain:
XP-Cam, CompCam Lifters, 105# springs, ZZP pushrods.

    Exhaust:
    P&P Heads / exhaust runners
Pacesetter Headers / Straight piped for now, indecisive on which mufflers I want.
    EGR Delete

    Misc:
Custom CAI, Wideband o2, AL 103's, stock injectors, P&P LIM & TB and a few other minor mods...

    __________

I have 2 pulleys. 3.4 and 3.25 Those with extensive experience, would I be safe running the 3.25 without chipping a piston?

    I really don't want to have a build #3
Bored block, Eagle Crank, XP Cam, Ported Heads/LIM/Blower/TB, 3.0 Pulley, CAI, Headers, 42.5#, AL 104's, etc...

you should be just fine with a 3.25 pulley.

Just continue to scan for KR and see what the car says. Best way to figure out what size pulley you can run.

And as for mufflers, go with a pair of Borla XS Pro.
'97 GTP - Stage 2 Heads, 90# Springs, 1.9 Harland Sharp Rockers, Gen V, 3.0, Intake, N* TB, LQ4, FSIC, 10.5mm Wires, Poly Mounts, SLP Headers, Borla Exaust, Built Trans - SOLD*

    '08 G8 GT - 6.7L 408CI Stroker, 239/254 Cam, Fast Intake, 102mm TB, CAI, Full Exhaust.

Start high, go with a 3.4 and 104's.

You want the car to run "right" before you start throwing more boost at it.

I wouldnt rreally expect to do much tuning on it unless you are changing maf sensors or injectors.

Stock injectors will probably work sorta ok on a 3.2 if you have a good enough fuel pump.

My setup is pretty much like yours except I have a comp cam and 130# springs and a ssic I'm running a 3.2 and it's only putting out 8.5 psi and I have never seen even a blip of kr. The stock injectors are at 95%. I'd say start with the 3.4 and work your way down but I doubt that it will make 7 psi. I've got 42# injectors sitting on the shelf waiting for a 3.0 or smaller. I'm running 103s at .040. Im running a 3in pipe to stock mufflers witha cutout love the sound with no drone.

You can't really compare a car with an intercooler to one without an intercooler. With a full size intercooler, headers and intake you can run a 3.2 pulley on a stock motor with no KR. So you can't really compare the 2 considering.

As said I would run the 3.4 to be safe, if its not hitting any KR you could upgrade injectors and MAF, drop to the 3.25 and see how she pulls, if needed order a 3.3 pulley and run higher timing.

Lower boost w/higher timing is always better than higher boost w/lower timing.

No one can recommend pulley sizes, as it is always going to be safer to start out things slow.
I recommend you take other things into consideration and then ask yourself if you think you're ready.
More importantly related to the question. Is it a GEN III or GEN V? What vehicle is this all in?
What about fuel pump health? Fuel filter?
Do you know your fuel pressure? MAP KP readout? Timing advance?
Have you successfully recorded datalogs with HPT yet?
Clean air filter? Clean MAF sensor? Clean throttlebody?
Returnless or return style fuel system?
If your car has a returnless fuel system, I wouldn't try a 3.2" without bigger injectors.
