ok so i went to go change my spark plug tonight and it started out pretty smoothly until i got to the middle back one my problem is that i can not get it off i have tried everything... using 2 hands, tried pulling off with some pilers, tried prying off (i don't really care if i have to get a new wire) any other ideas of what could be holding it on ? it spins freely o i also tried wiggling it around while pulling on it

Stock wires, so it has the heat shield? Whenever I do a car with stock wires I grab the heat shield itself and pull and twist. Works like a charm most of the time. Others... well **** happens.

yea they are the stock wires i tried pulling on the heat shield but still didn't have any luck yet, also i heat shield slides up and down so i know thats not the problem do you think that it is possible that some how the wire and plug could have fused together (crazy thought)
alright i finally got it off the heat shield doesn't look as pretty now, an i don't really approve this method but o well i had to do what i had to do
1. put vice grips on the heat shield not to tight but not to loose
2. put a piece of pipe over part of the handle a pry

Whatever works we changed the plugs on my friends gt a few months ago an we had trouble with the exact same wire. Took us prob 45 minutes an then all of the sudden it just popped off. I didnt have that prob when i changed mine though. Must just be the way some of them are put in or something

must be the odd part is that somehow that plug wasn't even tight anymore

They can suck.
If twisting and tugging does not work I will try to use one of my tools such as:
or my personal favorite:
When I install the wires back on, I will be sure to use some die electric grease on them to insure they go on as easy as they come off next time. Shame-sham GM for never doing this.

Yea tools are helpful. But they didn.t fit back there. We had a set of pullers an we could get them almost back there but not quite.
