Thread: Fake cat....

Anyone know where I can get a hollowed out or fake catalytic converter????? In jersey it's an absolute must, even have under car cams to check, I wanna eventually run speed daddy headers catless but I'll never pass inspection without one there!

Question is, I will be getting overkilled when it's time for the pulley drop, my guess the high flow cat adjustment to the PCM will also work for a "really high flow cat" such as this one?

Should, just tell Will to tune out the code and adjust for the free flow "Fake Cat"

He should be able to tune it basically as if it had a catless downpipe in it. Just guessing.

Yes, paint it black and powder coat your rims black to set it all off.

It needs to be painted, so I guess that's the next thing! All in all the body is in great shape, just got it in October, 04 with 90k on it, one owner and no mods for 9000. Sold my 01 gt to them for 2 grand, with 166k on it I don't think that was too bad lol. But yeah I might do that on Sunday, it's supposed to be 60 here in jersey, so it might just be warm enough for it

What paint did you use? And I'm thinking about gettin the rims professionally powder coated black, but it's about 340 bucks for a 4, we will see

I read your thread about Deja Vu, Those current rims will look nice black. Keep posting pics of the progress. Get an SE lip also, they look killer on the 04+.

On my lower facias, I used the $3 crylon outdoor paint, but I didn't clear coat it and now the paint has been f**ked up by all the long road trips I take between Louisiana and Texas.

Yeah the wheels have to be black, just like my old gp, and I like the se lip, but not without a full body kit, and I'm not a fan of em. I like the stock sleeper look. And I will deff keep updating progress!
