So instead of the 2 lines coming from the throttle body, just use a fat one to go from the throttle body to the thick line in the pic going to the evap canister??

Heres what I just did. I did one big hose from the throttle body to the evap canister. regulator and map sensor are going to the LIM. BBV is connected on top. Bottom of BBV is open. Still getting 2.9lbs of boost. Any other suggestions?

wheres the vac line to the by pass solenoid? like in post 48 of this thread? fuel pressure reg gets a T then to the by pass solenoid.
i know you have things all this and that way, so it makes it hard to tell just what is going on completely.
I don't have anything going to the bypass solenoid. Some one on here posted a video showing his vac lines and he didn't have anything going to the bypass solenoid. He said its not needed
Maybe, but he's putting out good boost. I'll give it a try. Theres 2 connections on the other side of the bypass solenoid, what do I do with those? the diagram shows to run a line from one of them to the bottom of the BBV. Is that correct?
one of the nipples is supposed to be free of anything, its supposed to have a sponge like filter on it.
i think its got 2 clips on the sides of the vac nipple, iirc the open one is the top one, the lower one gets hooked up to the by pass actuator. if im remembering right.
its a long walk to my car to check or i would.
the solenoid doesnt do anything other then limit boost by cutting vacuum supply if the PCM hits abuse mode. No need to hook it up. Is the BBV valve opening when the throttle is snaped. It should hit the little allen stopper on the blower case and then should go directly back up smoothly.

If the idles off then I would think you might have a huge vac leak. Whats the fuel trims reading at idle?
my short and long trims were all over. long trim B2 is around -2.3. Long trim B1 around -3.1. Short trim B1 ranged from around -2 to around +3. Short trim B2 around -2.3
fuel trims are fine so no vac leak as long as thats the readings with your foot off the gas
Yes those are the readings with my foot off the gas. I hooked everything up like the diagram and still 2.9lbs. I'm lost. Don't know what else to do. I tried disconnecting the BBV and capped the top and still 2.9 lbs. Any other suggestions?
