So I just replaced my coolant elbow which was leaking a few weeks ago. Got the car back and after a few days it started leaking coolant after I turn the engine off. Looks like it's coming from the right bottom side of the radiator as if you are facing the engine. Only shows leakage when I turn the engine off. Nothing when parked after driving and leaving the engine running. Any ideas? Thanks.

Oh and I don't appear to be overheating at all. I would say it's taking longer than normal for the engine to cool down but it never goes above halfway on the temperature gauge while driving.

buy a pressure tester and make it leak, so you can pin point where its coming from.

The side tanks on our radiators are plastic. They expand and contract each time you heat up the car. This can cause the plastic to crack...but it only leaks when expanded. Typically we notice if when the engine is turned off because heat and excess pressure.

Is there a fix for this or is it going to require a new radiator?

The endcap could be replaced if you can find someone that still fixes radiators. However you are more likely to get one off the internet in a day for a reasonable price.
