What's it called? It has a few vacuum ports on it. One is capped, one goes to the brake booster (which completely snapped when i touched it).

Edit the thread title to TOP BOOST TREE ON SUPERCHARGER NEEDED

Uh oh so it's not someth8ing I can run to napa or somewhere to get? This is my DD (doing a LIM change right now).

ALso, if I may ask two more questions:

How do the fuel injector harnesses come off? I"m baffled by them.
Where's teh tensioner for the alt belt? I found the SC tensioner just fine, but the accessory belt...I can't seem to find the damn thing

    It's called a vacuum manifold. Dealer/ZZP/Intense.

What year? that'll depend on how to remove the injectors. Old style, push the metal piece with a finger toward the injector and wiggle/pull up. New style, pull colored tab up a little then push in on the thingee and pull up. It'll pop off. That colored tab blocks you from pushing in on the clip.

Alt tensioner is directly below the alt. It's a 2.5" pulley

    Ok I got em.

I took the 5 fuel rail bolts off but it won't come off. Is it rewally just a matter of brute force?

Since you are on a Gimpy and said 5..that means you got the 13mm on top of the charger as well as the 4 nuts. I like to turn each injector a bit and then it's wiggle and yeah.. One trick I learned is spray a little pb blaster or wd 40 at the injectors where they sit in teh head.. give them a few min and they should come easier.

Or use a large flat head to pry up on each side of the rail.. I find that works easily. A long with the pb or wd40

Alright thanks, giving it a few minutes.

Do you have a part number to the vac tree? I googled and searched zzp as well and "vacuum" isn't returning anything. Perhaps I can just rig up a way to run the brake booster off the other port.

Thanks. I ending up passing that along to the dealer. They have it listed as "vacuum manifold" in their catalog, and will have it for me tomorrow. $9 for it. Not bad. In the meantime, I continue on this. I kinda want to port the SC while I have it out >_>

Ewww. Both gaskets had failed I believe, at least two of the holes on the heads were filled with sludge. The other ones are fine. I wiped out those holes and am going to to start putting it all back together. I'll have pics up of the gaskets later tonight so you guys can tell me what to look for.

Don't need pics. Once its all back together, change the oil and then flush the coolant. Drive the car for a week or 2 and change the oil again and flush the coolant again. No more worries.

    Sounds good.

I spent 10 hours today and still didn't get done. Lame :\ I got the supercharger sitting back on but the outside of the sc gasket ripped while moving it around. I hope that'll be ok (it only ripped around the peg on the one side, and the other side where the peg is it buckled but didn't rip).

You've done it before Dan.. lol

Vacuum manifold, hey hey..maybe I did get it right. Sounds like you are taking time and doing it right. On those two clogged up ports, take a look at the intake manifold, you'll see that they are blocked. Hence why the sludge developed there.

    Yup, those were the ports.

Quick question: I Had a long stud with a nut near the top of it, sitting in the group with my SC bolts, but i'm unsure as to the location of it. Any idea off the top of your head? The video I've been watching doesn't seem to show it.
