Zzp: added 5 whp. Cost: 400 + 130 for springs.
Ported heads start at one grand. Will add much more power.

Or you could watch the classifieds for a good deal on rockers. I grabbed some 1.84 YT rockers for $200. I'm not going for power, just needed some help running this L26 bottom end.

every time I have dyno'd a car with 1.7s it lost at least 20whp. They suck.

Even then, 5 WHP is hilarious if you're spending $200. Thats two thirds of a flintnasty turbo kit.

I bought 1.9 rollers, along with an intercooler.
Sold both and ported the heads over a month or two.
Its almost as fast. Go figure.
