My car was running off today( kind of bogging and skipping) so i stopped at my work to read the code. P1362 said crank position sensor low voltage i think. Anyway anyone have any clues to the problem? But under the code it said pending. I also had p0403 and p0405 but i have no cat or egr so ya obviously

Edit: this is what i googled
    P1362

    Description
    BY-PASS CIRCUIT SHORTED

Ignition Control Module (ICM) sends signals that the PCM
requires for fuel control and spark advance calculations. At the start
of engine crank, the ICM control spark advance (by-*** mode). When the
second 3X reference pulse is recognized by the PCM, PCM applies 5
volts to by-pass circuit, commanding ICM to switch spark advance to
    PCM control (IC mode).
If PCM detects a short to voltage in by-*** circuit, DTC will
set. A short to ground in the IC circuit or by-pass circuit will cause
both DTCs P1361 and P1362 to set. Engine will start and run in by-pass
    mode timing.

    Symptoms
You likely won't notice any drivability problems.

    Causes

    • PCM detects a short to voltage in by-pass circuit.

    Solutions

    • Locate and repair short in by-pass circuit.
    • Replace IC control module.

    disconnect the PCM.
    turn ignition on
    probe the IC timing circuit
use a multi meter or testlamp does it show voltage?

    turn off igntion
    disconnect the ICM
    turn ignition on
    probe the IC timing circuit
use a test lamp or multi-meter.. does it show voltage?

If yes to either then its just a shorted wire to voltage. fix the problem
    clear the dtcs
    wait 30seconds
    start the engine

does it throw the code again?

    What do you mean?

It's a wire that shouldn't have battery voltage( should be 5volts I believe )so if that's what you find then either cut each end and run a new wire from a. - b. or search through the harness to find it.

pretty sure i already figured it out, car had a remote starter installed in it befor i got it and the moron that installed it and spliced the wire from the coil pack and just wrapped the remote wire around it with no solder or electric tape or quick connects or anything so needless to say when i gor the car the wire was like falling off so i tightened it up and threw electric tape around it. Well this morning it was bucking worse than ever, so when i got my gf to work i hopped out and checked that wire just as a gut feeling and just kind of squeezed it tight and as soon as i left there was no bucking and had all my power back. Now my car was cold befor this and was fully warmed up as it sat there so its either that wire or the cold.further driving will see. Ill also go in there with a quick connect or solder and do it right

if the wire coming from the coils that the wire for the auto car starter is hooked to was starting to fail wouldnt it? unless that wire i thought was for the car starter isnt actually for it at all and that wire failed befor and they have that rerouted wire to replace it.

the wire its connected to is the first white wire on the right looking at the coils
