    im going to remove to my s/c so i can paint it i was thinking white to match the car but i feel it would get dirty real easily and look like poop. then i was thinking red because my dog bones cross braces and strut brace are red but that might be to much of one color. also should i replace the s/c oil and coupler while i have it off neither has been changed far as i know. and how do i go about taking the s/c off

    Paint it with high heat white and several layers of high heat clear coat.
    OverKilled, HAI, Ported Throttle body, Ported intake, ZZP DP, Magnaflow, BMR ta's, GMPP STB's, CCS springs, tinted tailights, roof rails, TEP cool'r, G8 hood. Glass Gearbox.

    They are brass right? Maybe scuff them up with steal wool, then clean and paint?

    the fuel rails. you have 4 bolts one in each corner. un hook the injector plugs. you need a fuel line disconnect tool to pop the lines off the rail up top. then lift the rails and injector out as one.

    good time to put new O rings on your injectors

    un hook all the vac lines and un bolt the sc, dont forget the one bolt that goes straight down off the rear side of the snout.

    also before you do anything, pull the fuel pump relay, start the car, and let it die. this way the rails are for the most part dry.

    The smoother the finish the less dirt it will hold. Sand the SC super smooth before you start painting and a few heavy coats of clear will keep it clean for a while.

    i picked up a set like these. you open it up, find the one that fits around the line, with the long part facing the rubber hose, and push it in, pull the rubber line side part towards you then pull it apart with the tool pushed in there. it opens 4 clips inside, also a good time to change the O rings inside the quick connects, they like to leak over time as well.

    Yeah you'll need a new sc gasket. It's called an upper plenum gasket at autozone.

    yes you need it and no need to replace the oil or coupler your car only has 30k

    you can leave the rails hooked up to the fuel lines, you still need to unhook the injector wires, and un bolt it, you can flip it up and out of the way.

    but if you want to paint them its best to take them off all the way.
