So an update is this, my neighbor charged the battery for me it fired right up sounded nice and healthy. Although the positive terminal on the battery is not a permanent one and its a little corroded and i guess the wires might need replaced which leads me to believe its either that or the alt but he wont help me take the alt off to have tested and i cant do it myself he says it will be a pain and i was wondering if there is any truth to this or does he just not want to help me because i don't have the stuff to do it i don't wanna take it to a shop just for that
