OK, so I have replaced the LIM, all hoses, 190* tstat etc. The coolant system has been bled, everything done correctly.

Car has 170k miles on it but runs fantastic otherwise.

Since then (~6k miles) I have noticed that my temp fluctuates a lot. From 180* to above 220*, sometimes higher, depending on outside temp. That is sitting in traffic. As soon as I start moving again it goes down.

Now, I did look and my fans are working, but I think only on low, as in spinning, but not fast. When the temp is up there, shouldnt they kick on high?

Could my fan relay be bad? Where is it located? Easy to replace?

Also, getting a squeak squeak like a vaccum pump sound under the dash. Related? What is that sound.

    Thanks for the help.

As far as I can tell yes. I have bled it multiple times, but not sure how to verify that there are no trapped pockets.

put your car on high heat and then open the bleed valve and let it go untill it comes out in a steady stream close it and shut off the car and let cool then fill the radiator cap to top close and repeat drive for a few days and it should bleed the rest itself, then make sure the reserve tank is full to the cold line when cold and you should be all set
